Slash
Slash was born on July 23, 1965, in Stoke-on-Trent, England. His given name is Saul Hudson, but as he hates his name, he adopted the nickname Slash.
Until twelve years old, grew up in England. His parents gave him great freedom, he continued to use when he moved to the U.S.. There, he joined the BMX-racing. But soon would know Steven Adler, who will present the guitar. When his parents separated, Slash moved in with his grandmother. It was her who got his first guitar, and then would drop out of school to devote 24 hours per day to the guitar.
Through ads in music magazines and found Duff, who with Steven formed Road Crew. Duff soon realized that it would not in any way and joined Axl and Izzy, but the guitarist and the drummer was sent Hollywood Rose, Duff then had the bright idea to call Steven and Slash 'temporarily'. Axl initially did not like Slash, but Slash followed him to all places, until defeated by fatigue.
Guns n 'Roses was formed, but no label was interested in playing the band. So, they released an EP on their own, by Uzi Suicide label. This caused a tremendous stir in the rock scene of the time. So, Vicki Hamilton, discoverer of several bands, the presented will Geffen Records. On 26/03/1986, Guns n 'Roses signed the contract with success. In July the following year, Appetite for Destruction was released. From there, life Slash was never the same. His solos and riffs came to rock history, and was hailed as a genius born guitar, although not dominating scores and the theoretical part in general.
In 1995, while the Guns n 'Roses did not meet again for a new album, Slash joined some friends and set up the' Slash's Snakepit '. Launched the 'It's Five O'Clock Somewhere, "along with a world tour.
In 1996, Slash parting permanently from Guns n 'Roses, to devote their jams and their new band, as he likes to emphasize, Slash's Snakepit. He and Axl could not understand, and he made it clear in the fax sent to MTV that left the band because they do not get along with Axl Rose, and was still friends with the other members.
In 1999, Slash resurrects the 'Slash's Snakepit', with a new lineup. The Snakepit goes on tour to 'test' the new songs, and half of that year, come into the studio to record "Is not Life Grand? ', Which should be released later this semester of this year, followed by a tour the U.S., after a world tour that will begin in Japan, then Europe and finally South America
Slash is a very calm, hardly gets nervous or aggressive. It is known for its friendliness and professionalism. He loves talking to fans after the show and never refuses to sign autographs.
