The Beatles were a rock band formed in Liverpool (England) in 1956. They were part of this group the following musicians: John Lennon (vocals, guitar and composer), George Harrison(guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass, songwriter, vocals) and Ringo Star (drums). The band'soriginal name was Silver Beetles, making a reference to beetles. However, the suggestion ofJohn Lennon, the band changed its name to The Beatles, because the English word "beat"means rhythm or beat.
Made worldwide success with her music, especially in the 1960s. The success is due to therevolutionary style that implemented in the music scene. They were songs with engaging lyrics and powerful guitar effects.The letters reached young people in full, they were confrontationaland revolutionary for its time. The band began to fall into crisis, because of business differences, at the end of 60 years, ending in 1970. John Lennon went solo, featuring his wife Yoko Ono. However, in December 1980, was murdered by a fan, on entering his apartment building in New York City. Died one of the greatest musicians of all time.
